Ha ha ha. Very funny. Have you ever considered being a comedian?[/no sarcasm] That is seriously the last thing that becomes possible on Valentine's Day. In fact, Valentine's Day makes all the people in that position feel like even more of a loser because it's the self-proclaimed national day of love and the person they love / have a crush on is still not theirs. Assuming they survive this blow to their self-esteem, they will continue on in life, not feeling too bad until the next Valentine's Day. Then the depression hits again. It is a truly vicious cycle, just another one of life's endless downward spirals. And although that outlook may seem overly pessimistic, it is in fact pragmatic.

Ugh romance is dead, I mean seriously the day is a harmlessly trivial day, people who take it seriously are dumbasses and deserve to be alone, it's a bit of fun.
I mean give friends and family cards it's all about a simple token gesture of affection!

Point taken. What I'm trying to say is that people should be allowed to not celebrate Valentine's Day without hearing EVERY. FUCKING. PERSON. in the entire world babble on about how wonderful it is to celebrate love. If you're going to celebrate love, you shouldn't need a special day to do it. It says something about your relationship if you do.  |

I agree that love (amoung other things) should be celebtrated constantly, but I still like valintines lol ;D

I love valentines day, It emphasizes that I don't have have a grilfriend or a wife...or a boyfriend. It really reenforces that feeling of failure...kind of like the French military

I agree that love (amoung other things) should be celebtrated constantly, but I still like valintines lol ;D Hell yeah.....though I would like some guy to give me something one day.  I am not talking about elementary valentine cards. A rose or something. Haven't had that privlege yet. |

I know what you mean Pinata, I always thought the same. Women always seem to have every bit of control when it comes to wheter a relationship is going to happen or not, so I would think it would be easier for them to find someone. Then again, finding a guy who isn't a complete asshole is another problem altogether that we don't have to worry about. We just need to find women who are willing, and that can be made easier with alcohol. ;D I'm such an asshole.  |

I'm a firm believer that women enjoy sex more than men, they just aren't as open about it or as willing to discuss it publicly as guys are. Funny though how Predator Fan mentions wishing to get a rose or something for valentines day and we turn it into a sex discussion. ;D |
