So...how's bout those Falcons? Monday's game totally didn't count... Anyways, what are people super bowl predictions? How's your team doing? Discuss!! Pre-season my 'bowl prediction was Bengals and Panthers...but...dunno what happened to the Panthers. Also, we might aswell discuss the Madden Curse aswell. Shaun Alexander was featured on the cover of Madden, recent news is he injured his foot, and will be out for a few games. There goes his season. THE MADDEN CURSE STRIKES AGAIN!! I think i read that its the 8th straight year the madden cover curse has struck. Whose next!?

Bears are definitely going all the way this year. I'd say the AFC is wide open, but that's probably because I don't follow it and therefore don't know dick about it. I'm just glad Alexander hurt himself just in time for the Bears game.

You don't need to follow the AFC. Just agree with the Bengals, they are killer this year. Would've done better if Palmer wouldn't have had his leg destroyed during the Steelers game.
I didn't follow the NFC at all. Probably why my NFC pick blows.

Nooo!! Falcons lost, Bengals lost, Saints won and the Steelers are winning 31 to 0 at halftime. Not even cool. My superbowl pick for the NFC is doing better now.... *grumble*

Indeed. I deffinitely see them and the Ravens in the superbowl, since i'm hoping the chargers will slip up.

Wonder who'll score.
(Note that I didn't say "score first", because in a Bears/Ravens game there'll only be one time anyone scores, and that'll likely be an interception returned for a touchdown in overtime. There'd be that much defense in that game.)

Well the Chargers slipped up as i hoped...but the ravens forgot to win!!! D'oh
The current 4 is pretty lame. I don't want to see either of the AFC teams go. I'm not a big fan of the Patriots or the Colts. -.- And then on the NFC i can't decide, the Bears are awesome but i'd like to see the Saints go because they're in the NFC south with the Falcons. I'm going with bears/patriots to make it to the bowl though. *shrug*

Patriots let you down... which is good for the Bears because I don't think we can take them, they had our number last time around.
Colts are a good team, but having to play outside -- even in Miami -- is a disadvantage for the fucking pansies, so I'm guessing the Bears have an easy win (especially if we bring our A game like we did 3 out 4 quarters in the Saints game).

My mom and sister have always watched college and were HUGE Ohio State fans (who got owned in the Nation Championship *cry*) but this year my sister started watching the NFL....guess what team she suddenly likes as of a couple days ago...The Bears. I wonder why. I hate the colts so i'm hoping The Bears will take it. However, whenever i post my picks on this forum, my team gets owned. (Superbowl picks, posted about my college teaming going to national championship, etc) so watch out pinata...i may have just cursed you. Muahaha. >_>

I have a lucky white cat to counter any curses. I just have to make sure she keeps her ass in the living room.

Mine picked me out at the local SPCA.
(Yes, I posted that right. She came right to me like she had decided, This is the guy who I want to adopt me. It was weird.)
Since I've had her, my bowling average has gone up 11 pins, the Bears are in the Super Bowl, my writer's block mysteriously ended and the Cubs have a new manager with bigger balls for next year.
