*Piñata uses Force Healing to restore his hands, then draws his wand and points it at one of the statues* Reducto!*the statue is flung backwards, and disintegrates into multiple pieces when it lands* Ha, I got one. *turns to Soul* You look familiar... a lot like somebody I knew once... but he's long since dead, so you can't be who I think you are. *sees a statue advancing toward them and draws his lightsaber* I guess now's not a very good time to discuss it.  |

*lands on the soft cushioning of a familiar man with a wind-sword*
Hey, you look almost like - *is cut short as the Elf Girl lands on top of him*
*gasping for air*
As nice as it is to see that you've managed to get yourself back to a healthy weight, you're crushing my spleen.
*meanwhile SC is trying to stand up, but finds himself unable to under the additional weight*
*SC casts a wind funnel to blow them upwards*
*the wind funnel isn't strong enough to lift them entirely, but it does manage to crush them from the bottom too*
Okay. I am officially being sandwiched. Could somebody please help me?
*wonders why the Elf Girl hasn't said anything*
*notices that she's unconscious*
Great.
*smacks SC on the head, causing him to lose concentration and disspelling the wind funnel*
*all three of them land on the ground they were hovering above, hard*
Eugh.
*picks up the Elf Girl and gets up off of SC*
*is confronted by two statues*
Great.
Hey, buddy. Could you take care of this? I don't very well just want to drop her, but if I make a move to put her down they'll take advantage and crush me.
*no reply*
*turns his head to look at SC*
Wonderful. Is anybody else here conscious and capable of helping me?
*slowly begins backing away from the statues*

((OOC: Don't worry, i can add my little plot thing and bring the multi-colored portals back, later))
*sends another beam at the gaurdian closest to Elfie. The guardian turns and tries to slow the others by putting out his arms.*
Statue(Ape): Elfie, RUN!
*Elfie picks up his pace*
*The other guards trample over the MCed statue, crushing it. Apey returns to his body*
*Apey turn toward Soul and grins. Then raises his hand. The hand begins to glow red. Pinata steps in between the 2*
Pinata: Stop that, we can't fight eachother...i think he was brought here too...just like us
Apey: ...
...look, these things are slow and it looks like more and more are appearing. You guys run, i'll try to fight my way into the temple.

*longshots himself and the Elf Girl into a tree a ways away, depositing her there so she remains safe until she wakes up*
Elfie: Hey, Piñata, do you have anything wood on you?
Piñata: Not really. Wait. Try this. *casts Wall of Wood*
Elfie: That'll do. *longshots himself back down*
(Longshots only hook into wooden structures)
*longshots himself and SC back to the same tree and deposits SC there so he's safe until he wakes up*
Elfie: Alright, Piñata. What do you say we give this Ape guy some help getting into the temple. *getures to DA* He can come too if he ever leaves that meditating trance he's in.

*SC wakes up, finding himself in a random tree*
SC: what am I doing here?
*SC looks down to see the people fending off the statues to try to get into the temple.*
SC: I'll have to help them if I ever want to get out of here I guess.
*SC pulls out his dual swords and swipes through the air with them which generates the wind Shockwave. The blast isn't nearly focused enough to even push the statues. This time he sends air missiles that rip right through the hard stone body of each individual statue. The speed he sends that is extremely fast. He continues this until he's blown all their heads completely off. They continue to fight however. He jumps down from the tree and lands next to the others. He looks at pinata and elfie.*
SC: Do I know you two?

*ApeKiller focuses for a couple minutes while the others continue fighting. ApeKiller beging glowing a very bright orangish red.*
Everybody...back.
*the fighters run away from the slow moving statues. ApeKiller stretches both arms out towards the group of statues. Then, a red wall apears in front of Apey, far to the left and right. The wall explodes into flames. Apey pulls his arms to his chest, then pushes them out as fast as he can. The wall hits the groups of statues, breaking and burning them all. ApeKiller faints from all the energy used to cast the spell.*
*Pinata and Elfie rush to Apeys body and remove his helmet, revealing his true face*
Pinata: He looks like...
Elfie: Pinata, you know as well as i do that thats not possible
Pinata: yea, your right.
*Another group of statues walk out of the temple*
Pinata: Get him out of here...
Elfie: Alrighty
Pinata: I don't think they are going to stop coming...what should we do?
Elfie: Damn, this guy pretty much sacrifices his self to get us in there...and then theres MORE!

Hmmmm... I wonder. You guys, protect my body for a minute.
*SC uses the Soul Stealer on himself. His soul resembles a puff of smoke. He heads to one of the statues and takes control of it. He punches another statue crumbling it ad his fist. Another comes up to soul and smashes him to pieces. However, soul switched bodies right before and crumbles that statue. The Statues become paranoid and destroy one another. SC then returns to his body.*
SC: well that takes care of that problem. Let's continue

Very good, I was afraid that I might have to do something to help. Now, it looks like our friend over here *gestures at Soul* has taken over the rest of those stone statues that were giving us a hard time. Are we going to go into the temple or just stand around here looking like fools?
*Walks up the stairs into the temple.*

Anyone here have an advanced scanner of some sort? Mine won't penetrate stone that thick and I've just watched Aliens, so I'm wary about going into an unexplored structure with no idea what we're up against.

(OOC: Soul, there's no guarantee right now of you reaching Immortal on The Conclave, so I was actually thinking there was a family resemblance between your character and the late, great Conclave-SC. Because of the association with Extrinta, though, you could be like, his grandson or something.  ) (OOC again: Elfie, it is possible that Ape survived, because he's Immortal on The Conclave. If he wants his character to be Conclave-Ape, we can explain that later through amnesia or some other convenient excuse.) Elfie, I have a primitive scanner that's better than anything you call "advanced".  *reaches out with the Force* Damn. They have ysalamiri in there. So much for that... *sees a large, doglike creature stalking through the trees* Great. A vornskr. This just keeps getting better and better. (OOC: A vornskr is a pack-hunting animal, similar to wolves but bigger, that hunts using the Force, and is therefore attracted to Force-using creatures as prey. The creature having shown itself means that the pack is ready to attack, but since I used the Force first, their primary target is going to be me. Just so everyone's clear on what's going on.) |

(Ummmm... okay I see what you mean Pinata. At first I was going to say he found a way using his soul mastery to live longer, But thats okay too. If you still want to stick with a grandson lets say he started fighting for the clave after Clave Soulcatcher died and he inherited all his techniques. That okay?)
*SC clenches his fists and generates wind claws from his fists that extend 1 foot long.*
SC: Stupid little mongrels.
*SC starts to hear ruseling in the area all around them.*
SC: Boy there are alot of them.

(OOC: Yeah Soul, that's exactly what my intention was when I said I recognized you... it's sort of like The Belgariad, where the leaders of certain countries all have the same names/likenesses. I figured Extrinta could be like that, and all the leaders are Soulcatchers.)
*looks around*
Yeah, there's usually a dozen in a pack. The one we saw was probably an advance scout... the alpha male is going to be bigger.
*draws wand and lightsaber*
We'll probably have to fight them... if we make a break for the stairs, they'll be able to outrun us.

*wakes back up and see's his helmet has been removed* Wha... *looks toward the temple and see's the guardians laying on the ground in rubble* There'll be more Elfie: How do you know? I just do. *Gets up and puts his helmet on* So, what happened? *Apey hears a low growl from the trees* ...ohh... *Apey TKs a guardians head toward him, and lets it drop at his feet. He does the same with a fallen guardians sword* *ApeKiller enters Aura View(AV) and looks arround him. He see's several red Auras in the forest surrounding them. He then exits AV*  |

(OOC: The original Ape was not a young Psi-Elite that liked to kill stuff though.)
*now being circled by a pack of vonskr, the rag-tag group waits for one to make a move*
*suddenly all hell breaks loose as DA is double teamed*
*DA fends off the first with ease and starts to deal with the second*
Nice going.
*at this point Elfie has turned towards DA to watch so a vonskr jumps at his back*
*Piñata cuts off the attacking vonskr with his lightsaber, and Elfie rolls and takes out the one trying to flank Candy-Bag*
*Elfie stands up to see one lunging at him head-first, but he double-taps into its mouth and steps aside as it travels past*
*unfortunately the corpse lands on Candy-Bag while he's trying to fend off another one and the one he was fending stands above Piñata, ready to attack...until it falls over dead with a dagger in its back, courtesy of an elf girl that was in a tree just a few minutes ago*
Elf Girl: That's three you owe me.
Elfie: Hey, what happened to that other guy?
*SC is seen slowly backing away from a giant vonskr*
Elfie: I guess he found the Alpha Male.

*Everything seems to go in slow motion for Apey as he stands off to the side of the battle. He watches Pinata move very slowly and gracefully, fighting with his lightsabre. He see's Elfies face, eyes moving frantically as he works out his every move. Apey feels he knows these people...he's seen them before...but where? If Apey ever knew anyone before he would've have killed them on the spot. How can he possible have a memory of someone who is still alive*
*Apey snaps to attention seeing most of the vonskrs dead, but the others are still being attacked. 1 of them backing away from a giant vonskr*
Elfie: Ap...err...i mean, YOU! How's about helping out a bit!
Apey: Ummm...right...
*ApeKiller TKs the guardians sword that he had brought to himself earlier. The sword glows blue and floats infrot of Apeys face. The throws his hand towards one of the vonskrs and the sword flies at it, peircing one of its rear legs. The vonskr wimpers and falls to its side, Pinata finishes it off with his lightsabre*
*Another vonskr jumps at Apey. Apey TKs the Guardians head up into the air as the vonskr throws itself at him. The vonskrs head smashes straight into the stone, knocking it out*
*ApeKiller walks over to the knocked out vonskr and sends a puple light to its body. The vonskr spasms out and floats an inch or 2 off the ground. After a few seconds, Apey stops and looks up at the others, confused at what he was doing*
