First we have to find a way to deal with that army... we don't have anywhere near enough dimensional-travel devices to run away, and the temple can't keep them out forever.
Bass, how many of your forces (treefolk, statues, vornskrs) are still able to fight?

SC: Ummmm... guys.
*SC pulls out a feather from out of his shirt*
SC: It looks like I do have 1 feather left. This will transport us to anywhere I think of. Also, all you guys have to do is grab my soldier while I use it for all of us to trnasport. It can only be used once though. I'll have to stock up on these things once I get back to extrinta.

Okay... (counts people)... we have 8 people... that's too many to grab onto SC's shoulder all at once... Elfie and I can use our Planeswalker powers to get to wherever we're going, and Bass can teleport as well... that leaves 4 people that have to be in physical contact with SC. Can that be done?  |

*hears a thunderous crash outside, then hundreds of running footsteps in the corridors*
Yeah, I'm thoinking now is the perfect time to blow this popstand.
*Elfie notches an arrow just as the door comes crashing in -- his first shot nails the first enemy through the door, a Goblin, right in the throat. Piñata draws his wand and, mouth moving so quickly his incantations are barely audible, begins firing off red and green energy bolts at the enemy force.*
You guys go ahead... we'll cover you!
*Piñata watches as SC and the four people hanging on to him disappear, followed quickly by Bass. Elfie, having switched to pistols so he can inflict more damage, is still providing covering fire with Piñata.*
Piñata: We can't fight them by ourselves... it's time to join the others!
Elfie: Since I'm out of ammo, I'm inclined to agree.
Piñata: You go ahead, I'll cover... ouch!
*Elfie, about to open a portal and planeswalk away, turns to see Piñata with a Murgo arrow sticking out of his shoulder. Piñata gestures to Elfie to keep going, and Elfie dives through the portal. Piñata backpedals across the lab, still firing a few last parting shots from his wand, until his backside connects with a table. He vaults over the table and hides behind it for cover, then at the first opening creates a new portal and, with wand pointed over his shoulder, dives through. His last incantation (Incendio!) can be heard on both sides of the portal. He lands heavily on the ground in front of the others, and lays there for a moment catching his breath.*
*Meanwhile, back at the lab, the enemy force was grouped too closely together, and Piñata's Incendiary Charm caught the whole first rank on fire. After regrouping, the remaining enemies -- in a towering rage over letting their quarry get away -- proceed to smash everything they can get their hands on.*
(OOC edit: Don't worry Elfie, most of your remaining lab equipment is replaceable, especially when we get to Ragbralbur and find DA, who has been continuing your work for centuries now.)

Piñata, has anyone ever told you that you seem to have a knack for destroying things? If so, when they did tell you did you destroy them too?

You can't blame the destruction on me this time.  *plucks the arrow from his shoulder, casts Heal on himself* I really need to stop taking damage every engagement.  *thoinks for a second* But then again, that's why my name is Piñata.  |

Ahhhh... we made it. I want to be the first to welcome all of you to Extrinta. Right now we are in an old lab I had scientists used long ago. I guess Zeles chaged that when I left. Everything so dusty and all the equipment is broken. Well, I must go check on Zeles.
*SC grabs some parchment nearby and an old pen that just about works, and scribbles some writing a little on them.*
Here everyone, take one.
*SC hands everyone a piece of Parchment*
This will allow you to get whatever you need in the stores for free. Remember though, only bring what we need, like weapons, food, whatever. We'll meet back here when everyone is done. I must go now. See you later.

Horses, walking, more feathers, etc.? |

:: outside the lab nearby, a rent appears in the air, metallic screams and the grinding of gears can be heard. A rusty-reddish light shines through, and a black-clawed hand reaches in, as if tesing the air. All animal sounds cease as a black and copper-coloured being steps fully through the portal. Its feet sink heavily into the earth, and an oily scent accompanies its arrival. It moves its arms as if stretching, and the groans and creaks of metal accompany its movements. It could sense the presence of others...powerful beings, maybe as powerful as itself, nearby. Good, its lord would be pleased.::
:: Only after the being had moved on did the insects and birds begin to make noises again....It was as if death and fear themselves had come with the monstrosity through the portal.....::

*SC heads out the door of the abandoned lab content that he has finally returned to his home land of Extrinta. The news that he has returned must already be roaming about Extrinta since the authorities read the note attached to Zeles. When SC turns around, he witnesses the monstrosity that just entered through a portal of unknown origin. He firmly plants his feet in the ground. Sensing danger, but not wanting to judge based on looks, talked to the person.*
