This is going to be an ongoing compilation of links to "worthy" sites. When I have more time, I'll come back and sort them into categories.
Member sites:
The Conclave: Wildkarrde's site, which most of our members came here from. MTG, Star Wars, Tolkien and Shannara discussion forums, as well as an extremely active General section.
Caras Galadhon: Lady Enelya's Tolkien-discussion board. Fairly new, but promising.
Everything Entertaining: Ape Killer's site. Discussion forums for music, trading card games, and electronic gaming as well as other forms of entertainment.
The House of Lore: Eldae/Ereinion/whatever the hell he's calling himself now's site. Forums for Tolkien, Harry Potter and Lloyd Alexander's Prydain Chronicles, as well as a section for roleplaying. Armadillo, Wren, Belgarath and myself are all mods there.
All Things Fun: Devo2's site. Another general-entertainment site, but with a heavier focus on sports and a more serious side with discussion forums for things like history and politics.
Soul Board: Soulcatcher4's site. Mostly oriented toward MTG discussion, but also has an entertainment section and a general board. Fairly new, and needs more members.
Embyr Haven: Kait's site. VERY extensive roleplaying section, featuring many of the things discussed on this site.
Deadman's Dike: Wren's site. Mostly Tolkien discussion and roleplaying. Needs active members.
Armadillo's RPGs: Armadillo's site. One of the better roleplaying sites I've come across, but it's new and needs more people.
The Ninth House Forums: Artanis' message board, which has a diverse enough amount of topics that there's pretty much something for everyone.
Hogwarts Rising: Aiden Hayes' site. Excellent Harry Potter RPG forums. Could use more members, but shows a lot of promise.
In The Movies: REBORN: Enelya's other site, a more general movie-discussion board (although it does have an LOTR forum).
Star Wars Space Station: Aleera's site. Has SW, LOTR and Underworld discussion forums as well as a HUGE roleplaying section.
Ze-Style: Knightmaire's site. Art, writing, and roleplaying. Needs more members so the creative juices can really get flowing.
Resources:
GRsites.com: The site that I got most of the backgrounds and custom icons used in the skins on my site from.
The Council of Elrond: The definitive Tolkien site. Language dictionaries, image galleries, forums, RPGs and even Middle-Earth themed recipes.
Essential Magic: One of the biggest, if not the biggest, MTG sites out there. Comprehensive card, deck and combo databases, various MTG forums, and a collection-tracking feature.
The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopdia (TCUSWE) - An astoundingly comprehensive info site about Star Wars. From starships to bio-weapons, you can find it here.
The Galactic Empire Databank (GEDB) - Lots of good info on starships, whether they be Rebel, Imperial, Pirate, CSA, or Criminal.
Starwars.com: The official SW website.
Fantasy Name Generator: A good resource for people who have trouble coming up with good names for their RPG characters.
Naming And Related Generators: Another name-generator site, with more options including nonhumanoid races, planets/locations and ships.
The Random Tolkien-Elvish Name Generator: Probably the funniest name-generator site out there. It combines one Quenya word with another to make an Elvish name, and the results are hysterical sometimes (my own personal favorite is the combination of the word for "will give" and the word for "tongue" .
Middle-Earth Name Generator: Yet another name generator site. This one provides male and female versions for Hobbit and Elf names, and gender-neutral names for Dwarves and Orcs.
