I agree with the general French assessment that Americans are puritanical hypocrites. Other than that, I don't really have much of an opinion, except that I fucking HATE people who use the term "Freedom fries".

My thought is that when a country gets bailed out by the U.S./U.K. not once but twice in the last 100 years, and one of said countries tries (unsuccessfully, I admit) to clean up your mess a third time, then that country would do well not to be so critical, regardless of how foolishly that country is acting.

We did good for you in the past so shut up if we screw up in the future? That doesn't sound like a very good idea, from my point of view. The fact that you liberated a country does not give you the right to demand that it agree with you on foreign affairs issues.

-=MOD FLEX - I feel powerful now. Yeah. I changed the "c" in the title to a "s" because apparently Canadians can't spell. =-

Yeah, Enelya's right. We might be giving them democracy, but it's democracy at the point of a gun. And Bass, I believe Canada uses the British system of spelling, which, since English is technically their language, not ours, would mean that the "s" in "defense" is actually wrong, not right. Elfie, correct me on this if I'm mistaken and you really did misspell it.

Yes, I realize that. Similarly to how they add a u to the word color....you know, "colour."
I just felt like mod flexing for once, seeing as I haven't yet with any of the powers I have. Why? Because I can.

Or as we look at it, you remove the u from colour.
That's my way of saying Piñata is right.
