Exactly. Do you have any idea how many political causes I was involved in before I was allowed to vote?  And the thing about the age of consent is just basic biology. If a girl has tits, she's an adult. If a boy can get it up, he's an adult. The government shouldn't be able to override logic, especially about something that shouldn't even be under their jurisdiction.  |

Exactly. If a girl has tits, she's an adult. If a boy can get it up, he's an adult. This is a good idea in theory but it could lead to alot of children being abused, and being presured in to things their not ready for. |

If that isn't possible (i.e. America), they should at least be required to have a functional knowledge of how their country's government works, as well as who is running. But it's a "free country" of "equal opportunity" and "affirmative blacktion" [er... action], so no such game. |

Problem is, they're now pledged to elect the candidate that the people vote for, blah blah, etc. In theory, they can refuse to vote for who they pledged to vote for (in most states), but that never happens anymore. So in essence, the idiots across America actually are electing the president, most without knowing what the president actually does. |
