w00t. I finally got to play this game (rented) and i love it. I'm not sure if it actually suprasses the greatness of Vice City, since i havn't played it very much, but as far as first impressions go... w00t! Its ATLEAST equal to the greatness of Vice City...and i'm only in the beginning. So i'm guessing it gets much better.  The graphics are way better than Vice City, and i'm a sucker for graphics. But i do have 1 complaint...and thats the damn sun. I think they over-did the lighting effects a bit. During mid-day, and late at night, the game is great...but afternoon and morning...the sun is constantly an annoyance. When your driving into the sun, you pretty much can't see anything...really. Its just...bright...reddish colors...and...blah. But you can buy clothes and whatnot...so maybe later in the game they'll let you buy sunglasses...that'd fix everything. But i'm not sure yet. Other than that, the game is great. Very forking sweet. And i'm still in the first section of the map.  |

If you've ever driven toward the sun in a real car, I think you'd realize they probably did that for realism. But yeah, it would get annoying after a while. I'm just a sucker for realism, so I thought I'd defend it.  |

I agree, i love the realism (maybe why i love great graphics...excluding that crappy shell...crap) but like...when your in a mission and all you can see is bright orange...and the wall your stuck against. It gets kind of annoying. It IS pretty realistic though...but...BAH, stupid walls! Keep getting in my way!  |

Ok I suck at this game!!! I got as far as going to get some drugs with sweet and then died over and over and over again!!! grrrr
I'm not too bad now, I'm pretty buff and look strangly like Warrick from CSI, but basically I just like cruising about!

Don't worry, i'm stuck too. I'm currently on a mission that takes me arround 30 minutes to die on. Which means, i can sit there and play for 30-40 minutes...but then die and have to go through ALL that all over again. Its quite difficult, i blame it on the firetruck. |

I'm still in the first area althoguh my little bro has completed it!!
It really annoys me that he can control the cp cars better than me adn i can actually drive!!

*gasp* You would rather play Chess than Grand Theft Auto!?  Anywho, now i'm trying to buy everything up. I've bought all the cothes from every store, and have alot of the safehouses. What sucks is i'm down to about $80,000. One place i need to buy cost $100,000 and another costs $120,000. It would go much faster, but i don't have any more missions to do and i can't find any of the side missions. All the sidemissions i've seen and done are...The 4 dragons casino one, the truckdriving one, and then the races/driving school missions that you don't really get paid for. Oh, and the digsite place...thing... ...i think thats about it.  |

what about kiling some hookers and stealing their cash? it'll take a whiel to get what you need but at least it's not a cheat....though I have that if you need it.
