My vote goes to Ocarina of Time. It was the first Zelda game on a 3D platform, and for a while there it defined what a good game was. Not to mention that it absolutely, positively rocked. The bosses were fun, the dungeons were complex (read: Water Temple), and the extra stuff you could do (read: trying to get the Eyedrop Frog to the Lake Hylia researcher in time) was cool too. This was my first Zelda game and I will probably always remember it as the best.

Majora's mask was the best. Only 4 dungeons though...

MM was really good, but the 4-dungeon aspect is what keeps it from being the best. OoT had enough dungeons to satisfy my craving for boss fights. MM had so-so bosses and not enough dungeons (altho the Stone Tower flip idea was extremely sweet). If MM had more dungeons, it would be better.

I really, really enjoyed TWW, more so than OoT in fact. But I think that A Link to the Past is probably my favorite.

I'ma have to go with a toss-up between OoT and MM. Ocarina of Time was excellent in that it had the large number of dungeons and diverse environments/enemies and the storyline was classic goodness. The whole game was extremely linear though, and there wasn't much room for choosing what to go do next. Majora's Mask's storyline, character development, and especially its non-linear quality made it especially endearing. The masks themselves and the ability to use the moves of 3 other races as opposed to just Link's was a pretty cool concept too. And the Bunny Hood in MM = da bomb! By the way...some game footage for the next Legend of Zelda game: www.nintendo.com/gameminiav?gameid=54610f14-1826-4d46-9981-8f72874aee2e

I voted for the original, since I'm nostalgic.

I voted for Ocarina of Time since it was the first the Zelda I've played. The last was Majora's Mask. Heh, I haven't played very many of them, but they were pretty awsome. Now our Nintendo is on the fritz. Something about the reset button being stuck, although I duno for sure what the problem is.
With the new Zelda coming out, I'm thinking about getting the new machine.

*wonders if there's a way to make Wren's location a link* Yeah... anyway, I haven't played any Zelda games. I know, I suck.

My son just got a Nintendo Gamecube for his birthday from his buddy. I'm so looking forward to Twilight Princess. Lucky for me, he likes Zelda too. ;D
