why don't you have a skin building comp, e-mail all the members tell them to create skins with images colour schemes etc and the best 1-3 or similar go on the site...all benefits none of the work!

what exactly do you mean by skins? I'm lost again Skins are just different color/banner schemes. Once the site has more than one, you can select which one you want by modifying your profile. I'm probably good enough with hex codes now to do at least some of the color-oriented stuff myself, but I want banners similar to the current one (multiple-image-changing-animation-thingies), and I have no idea how to make them. I'm going to ask Belgarath nicely to make some more. why don't you have a skin building comp, e-mail all the members tell them to create skins with images colour schemes etc and the best 1-3 or similar go on the site...all benefits none of the work! I have some ideas for my own, but that's actually an excellent idea... if my stuff doesn't pan out, I'll use that. EDIT: I've created two new skins, "gothic" and "pinata". The gothic one is primarily black, with red links and white text. The pinata one is very colorful, festive, and unfortunately at the moment migraine-inducing... it's still a work in progress, but basically what I'm trying to do is make the site itself look like a pinata. I've asked Belgarath to make new moving-banner-thingies for both of these skins, and for a third one I have in the works... hopefully he'll be willing to do it. |

Can you make a color scheme with mostly blues and greens and call it "Ocean"? You could get a hella good banner with a scheme like that.
