Well, it's summer time y'all and that means: Schools out! No more exams after today (thank God!) and lazy days by the beach for those who aren't doing anything this summer *casts the envious eye to those* *my summer is friggin' booked, cheerleading, church stuff and all that jazz!* What are all you guys doin' this summer!

Lessee... swim practice every day, football workouts three times a week, visiting Chicago in July, Quiz Bowl camp in July, then two-a-days, beginning in August. I'm pretty busy too.
You cheerlead? Cool. I play football and probably will start next year. What iconoclasts this site draws.

Yeah, I had no idea this site would ever have cheerleaders on it. I don't normally have that much in common with cheerleaders... apparently PF's school has some pretty awesome ones, though.  As for me: Well, I'm out of school (graduated 1997), so I suppose job-hunting will enter into my summer plans at some point. I also hope to make it up to D.C. to catch a Cubs/Nationals game in-person, and will try to finish the first book in the fantasy series I'm writing (not having much luck with that, although I've nearly finished the fifth book  ). |

I plan on doing absolutely nothing this summer. I could get a job or prepare to go to college, but no, i refuse. I have just graduated from high school and *may* be going to college within the next year or 2, but until then i will have to hold a job. So, before i have to work for a living, i am taking the summer off and will do absolutely NOTHING!!
But i still hate summertime, fall is the best season ever.

Well, thanks guys.......I'm a competitive cheerleader, I'm all over the place, and the school stuff....well, it was total BS.
Why do you hate summer? I think it's pretty cool *not temp wise, mind u, damn this global warming!*.

PF, you're still in Virginia, right? We do have pretty hot summers here. I don't really have a favorite time of year because I see the negative in each one... fall and winter are both too damn cold, spring I'm bedridden with allergies, and summer's too damn hot. |

Early fall is great. Before it gets too cold but the heat isn't scorching either. And it isn't raining like in spring.
