Mr. Deparvine a 51 year old laborer from St. Petersburg Florida was arrested for the murder of a Tierra Verde couple he supposedly bought a truck from just before their murders. He filed a petition in court to obtain the title of the truck claiming that the previous owner said they lost it and are now dead. Police considered him a suspect and while following him obtained saliva from a spoon that Deparvine used to eat some ice cream. The DNA linked Deparvine to some blood found in the murdered couple's car. If convicted he'll be facing the death penalty.
Deparvine has a degree in Criminal Justice, likes to hunt and enjoys scuba diving. Reportedly had an abuse free normal childhood.
Police have established links to 6 other murders.
In 1985 he pursuaded a friend to take out a life insurance policy and after he did so his friend was found murdered and 50,000 dollars went to Deparvine. The case is unsolved.
He tried to burn down a rental property that he owned for 43,000 in insurance. The tenant and her children were in the home at the time. He was convicted of Arson.
He forged an elderly St Petersburg woman's signature on a deed to obtain her property. This included a notary signature and stamp. Along with Arson he served time for forgery, grand theft and weopons charges.
