This is going to serve as a handy guide to all of the frequently-used terms and acronyms on the site. I'm leaving the thread unlocked so that other people can post suggestions as to what I should add.
AIH -- All I have (referring to the number of something owned, in this site's case usually Magic cards).
ANH -- A New Hope (Star Wars Episode IV).
AOTC -- Attack of the Clones (Star Wars Episode II).
eM or EM -- Essential Magic. Most of our members have accounts there, although few are active anymore.
ESB or TESB -- The Empire Strikes Back (Star Wars Episode V).
FOTR -- Fellowship of the Ring. Usually refers to the 1st LOTR book/movie, but can also refer to the Fellowship in and of itself.
fubar -- Fucked up beyond all repair.
GL -- George Lucas (the creator of Star Wars).
HP -- Harry Potter. Can refer to either Harry himself, or the HP universe as a whole.
IMHO -- In my humble opinion.
LOL -- Laughing out loud.
LoTR or LOTR -- Lord of the Rings (referring to either the book or the movie).
MTFBWY -- May The Force Be With You (a Star Wars reference).
MtG, MTG or M:TG -- Magic: The Gathering.
MW -- Mechwarrior. Usually used in reference to a video game, and in these instances is followed by a number (for example, MW2 would refer to the Mechwarrior 2 game).
OMG -- Oh my god.
OMGWTFBBQ -- Something people say as a joke to pick on the overuse of acronyms.
OT -- Original trilogy (the three "classic" Star Wars movies from the 1970s/'80s).
PJ -- Peter Jackson (the director of the LOTR movies, as well as the upcoming Hobbit movie).
PT -- Prequel trilogy (the three newest Star Wars movies).
Quenya -- The oldest, and most developed, of the Elvish languages in Middle-Earth.
ROFL or ROTFL -- Rolling on the floor laughing.
ROTFLMAO -- Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off.
ROTJ -- Return of the Jedi (Star Wars Episode VI).
ROTK -- Return of the King (referring to the 3rd LOTR book/movie).
Sindarin -- The other primary Elvish language, which has the second largest vocabulary (next to Quenya).
STFU -- Shut the fuck up.
SW -- Star Wars.
TPM -- The Phantom Menace (Star Wars Episode I).
TTT -- The Two Towers (refers to the 2nd LOTR book/movie).
