Translation: in the name of all that is holy, what happened in the second season's finale?
(If you haven't seen the aforementioned finale, this will be spoilers. But then why are you here in the first place?)
1) Are Locke and Eko really dead? If they are, why didn't Charlie care when Claire said they hadn't arrived? Relatedly, is Charlie even alive, or were those his last thoughts?
2) What do the hieroglyphics on the counter in the hatch say? What did the whispers (when Jack's party was tranquilized) say?
3) What does Penelope actually have to do with the Island? And did she set up Desmond to land on it?
4) What, exactly, were the "edits" that Radzinsky made? Why did he make the map? And what was the "incident"?
5) Who are the Others, actually? If they're the "good guys", then who are the "bad guys"? And what was with the look Jack gave to Kate when they were on the pier? And what's with the statue Sayid saw on the coast?
I'm pretty sure now that there actually was a plane crash and that there actually is an island. But what the fuck is going on? They sure as hell aren't telling us the half of it.
