It's only the off-season, but this year has been very exciting so far. TO going to the Bills, TJ Houzmanzada going to the Seahawks (What the hell is wrong with the Bengals? ...) and the Bears acquiring a nice quarterback (I was actually excited about that one, Pinata, the Bears a pretty good already and now with a quarterback like Cutler I think their offense could really do some work, maybe Hester will do a lot better with a more accurate quarterback, which is a scary thought. )
Also, I'm VERY excited about the draft this year. Ohio State has a TON of players going in. Brian Robiskie (WR, Son of the Falcons WR coach , James Laurinaitis (LB, Son of The Animal), Chris Well (Powerful RB), and Malcom Jenkings (CB) are all projected to be 1st roundish picks. And there are plenty more to go after that. I'm very excited to see where everyone will end up.
Unfortunately, it isn't all good. The Falcon's schedule, which was released last weekend I think, has been named one of the toughest in the league. Not only do they play a very high number of playoff teams/teams with a very high win percentage, but they also have 4-5 games almost in a row where the opposing team will be coming off a bye-week, so that's 4-5 games where they will be playing teams that have had 2 weeks to prepare. Also, their bye week is week 4.
Oh well, I'm more confident in the Falcons than usual so I'm not as bummed as I could be.
