General Proboards Help

One of my friends recently started up a proboards site, and he has two questions.

1) How do you create staff members?

2) How do you sticky / make announcements?

Stickying is the easiest of those things. When you're making a post, just check the box that says "Sticky this thread". I'm not sure how to do announcements, having never done it before myself.

As for the staff member thing, you go into a member's profile, change their member group to the rank you want, and if you only want to give them power over certain boards edit those boards to add that member's name as moderator.

I'm not too good at explaining things, so if this was incoherent let me know.

Also, if you think the site is something any of us would be interested in, post a link.

Actually, it turns out they didn't decide Proboards was a good fit. They bought their own domain name: chesstipz.com. If you're interested in chess, feel free. I'll keep this thread here just in case they decide to make it Proboards again... very possible, considering them...
