Rowboat

The sea swirls seemingly endlessly
the edge of Earth seems so far away
the sun sets in both the sky and sea
and so sets a beautiful day

The boat, one with the changing waters
The boat and waves dancing together
mid-year blooms and life's so much hotter
the partnership pays no heed to weather

At night, the stars seem to light up the sky
each so small, useless, or so it seems
united the darkness and lights form a tie
doesn't anyone wonder what this means

Lights now dim, black turns to grey
the sun awakes as the moons sets
fresh and ready to brighten another day
one shining as the other one rests

looking arround, i realize i am alone
feelings of dread, i'm seeing no shore
nothing left to do but dream of my home
drifting aimlessly, i've forgoten my oar



The ending blows, i think i'll rewrite it tomarrow
