Sit still, my child, and let me sing
Of dragons, fairies, knights, and kings
Of maidens fair and love so strong
Of far off worlds where nothing's wrong.
Now concentrate and close your eyes,
And drift to lands where you can fly.
Slide down rainbows and ride the wind,
And find the weak you can defend.
Should fell beasts come and monsters call,
Don't you run; stand strong and tall.
Slay the brutes, and when you're done,
The crowds will cheer and start the fun.
Bask in glory at a victory dance
Where pixies twirl and satyrs prance.
Find true love and save the day.
Adventure is only a thought away.
Now open your eyes and look at me;
Make a promise that sets you free.
Even when you're old and gray,
Don't let the magic fade away.
