Dracula's Silver Kiss
[/shadow]
There was the sound of wings again
I heard it every night
My parent's told me that it was just bats, but then
Why does the noise scare me at night?
It sounded to large to be a bat
Bats fly very fast
But the sound is of only one
A steady rythmic sound
Each night it came closer
Whatever the creature was
I never saw what made the noise
For the clouds covered the moon
And concealsed the creature of the night
But that night there was no clouds
The moon was shining brightly
I had seen what the creature was
And now I wish I didn't
Have you ever seen Van Helsing?
And what Dracula's transformed body looks like?
Well, that was what was flying outside my window
This creature of the night
As he came closer to the window
I stared in awe and fear
I slowly thought to myself,
"If he is real, what have I done
To make this creature come here?"
I made my pounding heart slow down
And slowly made my way to the window
I saw a man standing on the roof
As I curtly locked the window
The man just smirked
And with a flick of his wrist
He somehow unlocked my window
And opened it all the way
A startled gasp escaped my lips
As he stepped through the window
I stumbled slightly in my haste to escape
As he said, "I've been looking for you"
He took a confident step towards me
And I, a hesitant step back
There was a fire blazing within his eyes
While fear sparkled in mine
Suddenly, I found myself in his arms
Not knowing how I got there
He smiled so triumphantly
And then he spoke so quietly
And that made me freeze with fear
"Saphira," he began,
How did he know my name?
"My name is Count Vladious Dracula
And I have been looking for you."
Again I began to tremble
Which made him smile again
I whispered out the question,
"What do you want from me?"
Dracula just chuckled
As his lips found mine
And I desperately pushed away
But I made a terrible and fatal mistake,
In my desperate attempt of pushing him away from me,
I had fully exposed my neck
Seeing my exposed neck,
Pale within the moonlight
He finally exposed his fangs
And preformed his silver kiss
A gasp of pain escaped my lips
As his fangs went through my skin
I could not move and could not speak
As I felt my life leave me
I slowly fell into him
As he completed his silver kiss
I shakily got to my feet
As he murmured, "You belong to me."
Remember what I said about Van Helsing?
And how Dracula's brides were all dead?
Well, I am now his only bride
He preformed the silver kiss only once since then
And it was preformed on me
But that was many years ago
Two hundred fourty years to be exact
The kiss was preformed when I was sixteen
And I have never left Dracula since then
You may think "Why don't you stake yourself?"
And I tell you, I have tried
And I am just like my Dracula
I am somewhat immortal, too
But do not be afraid at night
When you hear the sound of wings
If you see a silver vampire flying
You will know it's me
I will tell you something
And pay attention to this
If you see a black and silver vampire fly
Niether us will come to you
And preform the silver kiss
