Well, that's the name of the new Starwars movie...They haven't really released much information about it...Other than the name and the face of the main bad guy (who looks very messed up BTW)...
Any thoughts?

I haven't seen the pic of the main bad guy yet. I'm looking forward to the movie because it's the first prequel title I've had a positive reaction to.

Does anyone even know when its supposed to be coming out? I'm excited! I love star wars! Its one of the few Sci-fi movies that I actually can sit down and watch and not get bored after 15 minutes.

I'm excited about Episode 3. First of all, we know how episode 2 logically progresses to 4, so we can all agree that Lucas can't screw up the plot. Second, the trailer (saw it before The Incredibles, which by the way was surprisingly intelligent) looked breathtakingly beautiful in a holy-crap,-that-beauty-is-about-to-blow-my-brains-out kind of way. Third, I'm interested to see how Lucas portrays the conclusion of Anakin's fall. Fourth, lightsaber battles = extreme w00tishness.

I heard this movie is supposed to have the longest battle scene (period, of any type) ever filmed. I hope it's a lightsaber fight. That would be awesome.

though a well-done space fight would be pretty awesome as well.

And a simultaneous combination of the two (as we saw in Episode 1) would be good as well.

$5 says it's where Anakin nukes the Jedi order, one by one. Continually. Because for some reason, the Jedi don't fight intelligently and gang up on him (or, they do and he pwns them.)

Meh... I hope they don't gang up on him. I thought that was pretty low when Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan did it.

Qui-Gon + Obi-Wan = Qui-Gon gets stabbed in the face (figuratively, of course)
... Jedi + Jedi + Jedi... + Jedi = extreme stabbage. w00t.

I'm not looking forward to it, for a number of reasons.
1) Lucas will, without a doubt, find some way to utterly destroy the plot, or defy what has been established by other sources about the StarWars universe.
2) The enemies. Anakin pisses me off. They don't give Dooku's character enough time to develop; he's a spectacular actor, and a very cool character once you do some research, but there simply isn't enough time left to develop his character. Sidious just plain sucks.
3) Pinata said something about this on the 'Clave... or maybe that was Bass... in any case, I have a feeling Hayden Christensen, crappy actor though he is, will wind up killing both Samuel L. Jackson and Christopher Lee. I'll really want to scalp Lucas if that happens.
4) Judging purely by comparison to the other SW Prequels, this one will suck. The first two prequels did, so why will this one be any different?
5) Starships. If we don't see some Dreadnaught action, I'll strangle kittens. If we don't see any VSD Mk1's in atmosphere, or at least using their concussion missiles, I'll instead throw said kittens into a trash compactor and squish them. As well, Lucas cannot possibly justify the disappearance of the Lucrehulk Bulk-freighter. Sure, most of them wind up in the hands of private owners, or in the Corporate Sector, but how? That's yet to be explained, and I doubt Lucas will do it adequately.
6) Sheer inaccuracy. At the end of Ep. II, Lucas unveiled the Death Star as a Geonosian idea. WRONG! Lucas will probably find out that it's wrong, and then insert Grand Moff Tarkin into the Death Star during it's construction in a pitiful attempt to remedy the situation.
Speaking of the Death Star... how was it conceived by AOTC? The idea didn't even exist until after Tarkin became a Grand Moff, and after he'd set up the Maw Installation. This would in turn mean that the Empire was already in existence.
As well, it's a fair bet that Lucas won't even mention the slave colonies on Despayre, where the Death Star was built.
I have many more gripes, but I'll share 'em later, if at all. This is enough boring you for now.
Oh, by the way, 89 days left until its release.

I could read all that but it would take too long,
bascially it must be watched by all so we can at least complete the series as it is a institution in itself!
