Cantina Nights (SW)

*The cantina was crowded this night, as it was every night. Gambling, drinking, music, and good times all around. Sitara was used to this atmosphere, and being on a stage in the middle of it all didn't even phase her anymore. Just as she finished her break, the band started up a new song. Sitara ran a hand through her braids with a sigh and walked up the stairs onto the stage, taking her usual position. Ignoring any eyes that might be on her, she began to dance as the music grew more lively and fast-paced, letting the music flow through her so that she wouldn't be nervous. With her flexibility, it was easy to pull off every move perfectly. After all, she'd been doing complicated dance steps for years. A few songs went by like this before the cantina's owner caught her eye... A singer took her place as she left the stage, grabbing a seat at the bar. Trying to cool down and relax a little after dancing in the hot lights, she tried to get the bartender's attention.* "Could I get a glass of water, Max?"

"Coming right up, sweetie!"

*She waited patiently as the bartender finished taking customers' orders, tapping her fingers on the counter as she listened to the music.*

*Dan walked up to the bar and saw the pretty dancer who had been onstage earlier sitting there.*

He smiled and asked, "Hey, can I buy you a drink?"

[Kait]

*Sitara turned to look at the man that addressed her, her bright eyes briefly studying him. She was used to men offering her drinks after one of her performances... He's definitely the best looking one yet...* "I would say yes, but until I'm off from work, I think I'll just stick with water..."

[piñata]

*Dan smiled at the woman again.*

"I understand. You're definitely graceful enough on that stage you could probably afford to indulge, though. Good luck with your next performance."

Richard Night is sitting at the bar, watching the girl on stage dance, sipping on his drink. It's been a long day at the spaceport, he's beening working for over 10 hours non-stop. He sighs and scratches his head, taking another sip of his drink.

*Sitara smirked slightly, taking a sip of her water as Max finally slid it across the counter to her.* "Thanks... I'm sure you'll be watching very closely... so I suppose I'll have to make it good..."

[piñata]

"I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that your next performance will be just as perfect as the first."

*Dan ducked instinctively as a young Twi'lek girl came up next to Sitara, swearing loudly, and hurled the contents of her drink at the spot where his head had just been. His quick reflexes saved him, but also doomed the man sitting next to him, who got lomin-ale splattered all over him. The Twi'lek, seeing that her first attack had failed, leveled a vicious-looking kick at Dan's head, while still shouting things that are best left to the imagination.*

[Kait]

*Quite startled, Sitara immediately stood as the twi'lek's drink flew through the air. She was impressed by her current companion's quick reflexes, but focused on her own as the twi'lek geared up for another attack. Deciding that a kick was taking things a little too far, Sitara swiftly grabbed the girl's lifted ankle before she could deal the blow, jerking it upward so that the girl fell flat on her back. The dancer's bright eyes were narrowed in a glare as she stared down at the girl menacingly.* "Try that again and I'll have my boss hurling you out on the street in seconds... We don't appreciate fights in this cantina..." *Sitara briefly looked at the man next to her before turning back to the twi'lek.* "Care to explain yourself?"

[Elfie]

*meanwhile outside, a man walks into the bar*

*Elfie walks into the cantina amusedly wondering to himself what kind of idiot walks into a bar in this day and age*

*the crowd, in the middle of resolving a fight, stares at the newcomer*

Elfie: I am unimportant in this matter. Go back to what you were doing.

[piñata]

*After staring at the strange newcomer for a moment, the Twi'lek finally spoke:*

"He's a liar, a philanderer and a thief!"

*Dan was quick to defend himself:*

"I never stole anything from you."

*The Twi'lek girl sputtered incoherent curses for a while.*

[Kait]

"Funny how that's the only objection you have..." *Sitara sighed. Just what I need...* "I don't know what happened here but you two had better give it a rest now before my boss notices all the fuss..."

[Lady Enelya]

A Mirialan women entered the crowded bar, her senses somewhat offended by the smell of those bodies pacted so closely together.

She order a hot correllian ale and sipped it slowly letting it's heat warm her chilled fingers.

The music in this place wasn't bad she mused as she serveyed the mixed occupants of the crowded Cantina.

"You stick out like a Nerf herder in a Star Destroyer." A women sitting at the bar said to the Mirialan women. A smirk shown on her face under her long red hair. She was a correllian. Wearing a black long sleeved dress that the bottom looked as if it had be torn in battle, diagonal. Underneath she wore black leggings.
"I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first. How have you been?"

[Lady Enelya]

Dole smiled, "Not bad yourself?" she said not looking at the other women, but keeping her eyes firmly forward.

"I can't say much. Just the same old stuff. Go somewhere, get into trouble, save the day. You know the same old stuff." She replied.
