BASIC RUNDOWN: Lots of people from the Conclave Adventures do stuff. I don't know exactly what happened in the Conclave Adventures and how PPU#1 relates to them; you'll want to ask Pinata about that. The basic guideline to this madness is the Prophecy, which was written by Lady Enelya, that lists the major responsibilies each character will have in the quest. We're the good guys. On the other side is err, I always forget his name... Zelos, maybe?, who has been going around the plane and collecting shards of an ancient, massively powerful artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. There are three shards. He has two: Aratar's and Foretel's. Medwyn's remains in the care of us, if I remember correctly. They've already thwarted a droid invasion of somewhere (it happened before I joined the site), and swung by EssentialMagic, where they found me and learned of Zelos' theft of the shard of the Spear of Destiny. Basically, the story is still starting out. If you want to base your character off of something particularly (i.e. a fantasy reference), you can say that here or just post your character in the character post section. If you want to request a certain role in the prophecy, you can say that here and Pinata might approve it. Just do whatever you want... we really don't care.  |

Yeah, this is pretty laid-back. BTW, if you want your character to be a vampire or lycan, it's not off-topic because there's a nation in the Conclave inhabited by those races.
This adventure takes place 900 years after the current Conclave adventure, so it won't refer to the old stuff in ways that are important very often (with the possible exception of the conflict between Pinata and Aratar, which has been brewing for millenia now).
The other bad guys besides Zeles are all from (or somehow related to but non-canon, in the case of the leaders of the Sith and Death Eaters and the current Lord Rahl) various fantasy books/movies. They appear to be united under Zeles' leadership, but may have their own agendas and even some dissention among the ranks. The only one that's appeared so far in the adventure is Lanfear (the Daughter of the Night from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books), but you can bring in people from wherever.
Other than that, Anima did a pretty good job catching you up.

Coolness, I never thought of being a vamp, but judging by my banner I think I can play a vampire. But as to my role in it?  Got me. I'd like to be evil but not too evil more mysterious, only out for herself. If you guys can help me out. As for a name Galuwen (or any you think would be ok) how about going by The Dark Enchantress |
