Someone advance it. Finishing up the trap situation would be nice.
A theoretical question as well. How powerful are we supposed to be at the end of this story? For example, would a character be allowed to become the pure avatar of a certain color of mana by the time of the final battle?

Someone advance it. Finishing up the trap situation would be nice. If there are still mriswith to fight, I can do something. Otherwise, I'm useless since I have no idea whatsoever where you're going with this thing. Well, most of us who aren't already Planeswalkers are going to get the spark, so pretty much everybody will be a five-color wizard. But if you want to favor one color enough, I suppose you could become its avatar. I could actually see my character becoming the pure avatar of green, so if you want to be an avatar of a color, go for it. As far as other types of power go, the Conclave will actually expand beyond its former territories to include other realms that either fall and get absorbed (like EM) or join with the Conclave in a more official capacity (like The House of Lore). So, being a Lord in the Royal House of The Conclave, even if you're a fairly minor lord, will carry a lot more political importance than it used to. And since most of the player characters are either already Conclave nobles or have to become nobility in order for the prophecy to be fulfilled, your character will probably wind up with a political appointment of some sort.

Nah, it's cool now. What you did was perfect.
Good. I don't want Anima to be a five-color planeswalker. I'd prefer him to be the pure avatar of red mana, cuz that allows for some crazy shizat. And besides, I designed Anima to eventually evolve that way. So that's good. Also, chaos inhabiting a body allows for some cool physical descriptions...
Ah. I'll want to stop you there. Red mages tend not to do well in structured society for obvious reasons, so I think he'd be better being... um... a freelance consultant. Or something. Anima doesn't like overtly large castles, either; all the order scares him.

Anima doesn't like overtly large castles, either; all the order scares him. Good point. I never thought of it from a red mage's perspective before. So you're going more for chaos-themed stuff than for burn spells? Just wondering because there's a character in the Conclave adventures (he's not a Planeswalker, so he's dead from natural causes by the time of this storyline) who's a sort of avatar of red, but he does it from the standpoint of complete control over the elemental force of fire.

Entirely. Not that burn is uncool... it's more that Anima thrives on the power of chaos. He is, after all, a shapeshifter, which is one of the physical manifestations of chaos affinity. Also, since I like to write long descriptions, chaos allows for some awesome visual tech.

Any time now... just get us back to the ship, and I'll deal with actually leaving the planet. Kthxbai.

Leaving the planet? Is this thing capable of atmospheric travel? Because there are still things we need to do on this planet.

Oh, you still need to be on eM? Okay, whatever. Get me to the Portal and I'll get you where you need to go.

No, we're done in EM. We need to be in a different country from EM on the same planet. Where did the idea that EM was a planet come from?

Uh... from the fact that it is. I though eM was its own plane. eM itself has several distinct continents...

Uh... okay, I guess I need to do some worldbuilding here. The way the storyline was being written up until you made the suggestion EM was something more than a country was that, from south to north, The Ninth House, EM, Selvo, MTG Oasis, The House of Lore, The Conclave, and Static DMC all shared the same continent (although some of them, for example Oasis, have the ability to planeshift). As for how we might have gotten to EM were it a separate planet/plane... well, let's just say that you give Airship Basurake WAY too much credit.

Okay, gotcha. I'd never thought of it that way before... I always assumed that eM was a plane. Guess not though. The Great Portal is still needed to leave; I guess I can fake some reason as to why you got in. But if you can get us to the ship and in the air, that'd be great.

Ok, so my last post was a little strange. I kinda wanted to introduce the idea that something is causing the barriers between existance and blind eternities to weaken. If it doesnt quite fit in this adventure, it makes for good forshadowing for a later one.

That's okay, I think we can work it in somehow.
