Here is the thread where you can show off your D&D characters if you want to. Just post the stats, and a pic if you've made one, and see what people have to say.

Here is a link to the character I'm currently using in an online game... and yes, his name is taken from the Silm. I would multiclass to a ranger after level 4 (and weapon specialization) but rangers =horrible in 3.0, the version my current game is set in. Homebrew campaign setting, btw.

*Too lazy to find stats*
I'm using a human Barbarian (v 3.0, I think). Barbarian rage roxxors. I'm using it in some crappy campaign (DM doesn't enforce pretty much any rules), though, so I'll have to reroll a char for the campaign my dad is going to DM. The character I get will prolly be a Barbarian, just cause the Greataxe rox. And rage >>> weapon stuff IMO.

A greataxe? I prefer scythes as a barbarian

Huh. Really? From what I saw, they costed a lot and did less damage with a lower crit range and lower crit damage. And they weren't auto-proficiency. Is that true or am I just making up that memory? *confoozled*

Scythes cost less, they are martial weapons just like great axes, and while they do less damage, they have a higher crit damage.
All this is from 3rd edition.

Mkay, I'm just stupid then.
* 8-)s self*
K, I'll look into scythe for barbarian then. I think the group I'm with will have another fighter and ranger anyway, so lower damage is negligible if it means I can buy more stuff.
Ah, yes. Buying stuff. My barbarian is the closest to a shopaholic barbarian you'll ever find.

That's funny... sounds like a quirk I'd give one of my characters. Right now I have an alcoholic elf and a lawful thief, as well as assorted other bizarre characters.

*Stares at Elfie*
Err... that is to say, I'm sure you came up with that character completely on your own without basing it on any people you know, especially people on this site.

Actually, Elfie's told me he doesn't drink... so apparently he just acts drunk. I'm really not quite sure where the inspiration for the elf's drinking came from -- maybe because he's a sailor?

yeah, my current group happens to be incredibly insane. Every single one of them.

That's the best kind of group to be in.

well, I didn't mean insane in a good way... I mean I'll be telling them what's happening in a room, and half of them will wander off and play foosball. And no, I'm not being dull or anything at the time. Also, I tend to have one person (Amidamaru from my site) who tends to get killed by the other players... repeatedly. No matter the DM. Which is why I'm splitting my group, since 11 people at various stages of competence is just to much. *sigh*... I've got too many players and not enough DMs.
