Finals time. Oh boy. I sincerely hope it finds you better than it finds me. I had the joy of experiencing my first take-home final this year. Ah, the joys of losing an automatic letter grade per comma splice or run-on sentence. I'm lucky I don't do that . Does anyone else have a teacher that's that anal about grammar or paper format?

Well, I'll use this thread for the same purpose I use the ones on the Conclave and EM for... posting bowling scores.

Last night I got a 170 (49 pins over average, and highest game of the season so far ), a 131 (only 10 pins over ) and a 141 (20 over ). Damn I'm good.

Not bad at all. I can appreciate lots of types of music (read: everything except rap and country), but I'm definitely a rock n' roll boy . Especially Oasis . And.... Radiohead ?

Ok, let me recap the last month for you in 2 words:

Fucking horrible.

List of shitty things that have happened to me:

- Car accident
- The resulting events after the car accident
- Traded from my soccer team with all of my friends, to the worst team in the league
- Did horrible on 2 chemistry tests
- Lost my goddamned wallet AGAIN
- I've been beyond stressed in school lately, I actually almost broke down today in chemistry

So yea, my life is bullshit. I have nothing to look forward to right now, other than Christmas holdidays, which I'm going to have to spend the entire fucking time doing numerous major assignments for school...

In conclusion:

It was around -30 degrees here today, I had to walk in that for 20 minutes...that was fun.

It snowed for the first (and hopefully last ) time this year last night. I think it's still above zero, though -- although it certainly doesn't feel like it.

Is anyone else here on a swim team? I am. It's fun most of the time--get to play in the water, hot girls in swimsuits = ;D, get to laugh at people when you tell them what your main sport is and they ask if swimming is really a sport . Problem is, I've actually started taking it seriously this year, so I've had to get up at 5:00 (read: 5 hours before I would of my own volition) each morning, swim, get my ass kicked by the workouts, and then go to school and try to stay awake / preserve my GPA. . It's horrible. At least now that school is out for the time being, I don't have school after practice.

I won a literary contest at my school. Now I get a $20 lunch or something. It kinda helped that I had about 20% of the entries to the contest (I wrote a LOT of stuff over the summer). Here's the poem that won; I personally thought it wasn't very good.
