I haven't played any FF games before this, but I loved this one. I would buy it again if they re-released it with today's technology in a heartbeat, which is why I'm not sure why they haven't, because I'm not even big into RPGs or video games compared with some people.

They are going to remake FFVII. they gave it better graphics and such. However the materia cannot be switched between characters. They work as skills now. I believe it's released in Japan

Hey, maybe you guys can help me with this game.
FFVII is the only game I've never asked for help in until now.
Ok, do ya know where you're stuck in that sand prison, and you beat the guy with the other gun arm, and then race chocobo's to get out?
Well, I've done that, and I've gotten the jeep thingy, but now I don't know where to go. I've been back and forth on the boat and I still don't know what I'm supposed to do now.
What do you do after you escape the prison?

I've never played this one, but it seems to be the most popular amongst Final Fantasy fanatics. I can't play games with outdated graphics on my console without getting bored after a couple of days. Old games are great to break out when you are with a bunch of friends, or every once in awhile when you're just bored, but I can't sit down and play 90 hours worth of old RPG without getting tired of it 5 hours into the game.

Unless it was something I played alot when I was younger, for nostalgic purposes. Starting a new game with old graphics is unhead of though. ...which I guess is kind of silly when you consider the graphics are usually the least important part of most RPGs. *shrug*
