Have you seen or heard anything about these new movies? I'm a little worried because I heard Disney is behind them. They've been compared with the Lord of the Rings, but lets just say with Disney producing, I'm not expecting much.

I wouldn't expect much either, if it weren't for Disney's recently good track record with fantasy-type stuff ("The Sixth Sense", "Pirates of the Caribbean"). So I'm undecided as to how highly I should place my expectations now.  Which book are they doing first? *hopes it's The Magician's Nephew so the storyline is coherent* |

I read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe first. It seemed like I read them in the order of which they were written, but he did seem to write them out of order.
They'll probly go with Magician's nephew, but I would hope for the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. ;D

Oh yeah! That makes me happy. I saw the trailer when we went to see "The War of the Worlds." It looks pretty good so far.

Yeah, I think Tilda Swinton was a good choice for Jadis. There was something very sinister about her in "Constantine" that she can probably use to great effect with this role.

Well, actually I do. I've seen it twice now... have it on DVD, as a matter of fact.
Can't wait for Prince Caspian... it's one of my favorite books in the series, and the trailer looks good.

I speak a little Spanish (enough to understand every word you just said), but I'm not sure I could converse with you extensively in it. I do know some nice Spanish swear words, though. ;D

LOL. That's pretty much all I know, too... that and the words for "Hello" and "Goodbye". I know a little bit more of Spanish, German and Chinese, and am near-fluent in Elvish (yes, I'm a dork).
