I don't really play magic, but I was watching my friends play, and I was just wondering: Are indestucible cards or cards that say "You cannot lose. Your opponent cannot win" considered fair or cheap?

Well, Indestructable and the "You can't lose and your opponent can't win" card are 2 different things.
Idestructable means, whatever has the ability, CAN'T be destroyed. The only problem is, they usually cost alot, or are useless anyways. (i said USUALLY)
As for the "You can't lose and they can't win" card, thats Platinum Angel, and the card itself CAN be destroyed, which is its downside. The person can bring you down to negative life (and you'll live since you can't lose) but if they destroy the creature, you instantly lose.
So no, i wouldn't consider those cards cheap or unfair, but there are some that are, or atleast, some cards that are frowned upon. Kinda like Test of Endurance, or any card that says "You win the game if you have..."

Or Time Walk. People get really pissed off when I play that for some reason. @eldae: Before you ask, it's the card that says "Take an extra turn after this one". BTW, watching my friends play was how I got into Magic 10 years ago... Eldae, we'll have you using all your money on cards in no time.
