I haven't seen the old one. The new one is an orgasm, believe me. It draws so many parallels to modern times, too... I love stuff that has an agenda (as long as it's MY agenda). That's probably why I like Serenity so much.
But anyway, I love the entire premise of BG. Plus the storytelling power of the script is great. Not to mention the convoluded characters...
