I haven't even begun to wrap my mind around these two articles yet, but I thought I'd post them here and see what you think about each. Plutonium productionlegal greensthey have nothing really to do with each other, but I discovered them both at the same time so I posted them. I figured we'd run with whichever one sparks more interest.

The Plutonium one is a mislink. It leads to a preview of the Firefly movie.
As for the marijuana one: I agree wholeheartedly with Friedman. The enforcement of prohibition creates more problems than it solves from a psychological perspective, even. One of the four main discipline types is the type that is prone to do exactly what is prohibited only because it is prohibited. Sure, it's not a clear majority. It probably isn't even 25%. But playing around with numbers like 15% in a country this big is still a lot of people. I believe that legalization of marijuana and proper education of responsible use of it will be a benefit to our society, not to mention the possibility of taxing it.
