yeh i couldnt think of a good title because i honestly dont no what to call this... well anyways. My mother ISNT a homophobe and although shes a god fearing christian she doesnt hold the bible litteral. I recently came out to my sister and...my sister being my sister made a really big deal out of it. Now my mom refuses to mention it. I dont understand it! it annoys me greatly. She makes it seem like i changed. I've known for about a year now and just decided to keep it hush hush, but now i dont really care. If my friends want to abandon me because of this(which some of them have) then, they arent real friends. I just dont understand this change in my mom. I always loved the fact that she was tolerant and now...pfft.

You have a lot of courage posting this. I know a couple of people who had to come out in real life, and it was really difficult for them. In fact, some of them went through similar things with their parents.

I hope things turn out okay. If there's anything I can do to help (I have absolutely no idea how I could be of help from down here in Virginia, but I figured I'd offer anyway) let me know.
