It was pretty standard, as PG-13 horror films go. It was a little on the scary side, but I agree with you that it won't be keeping anyone over the age of 12 up at night. I'm hoping that "The Boogeyman" (which I saw previews for before "The Grudge" the day I saw it) is better.

That does look like a good movie. And yea, the movie didn't scare me...It just made me jump at a few points, which is normal...I admit, I did have some trouble sleeping, but that wasn't because I was scared, it's 'cause I couldn't get the goddamned girl's face out of my head

I wanted to see it in theaters, but never got to.
Has anyone noticed the massive amounts of horror movies that have been released recently? It seems like ever week i hear about a new horror movie in theaters. o.0

White Noise looks cool...THAT's one that I'd like to see. It's pretty good... not quite as good as The Grudge, though, since it's a bit more on the suspense side than straight horror. Darkness is surprisingly good for such a low-budget movie, too.

I saw this movie... I didn't find it scary at all. My only problem was later seeing things. The disturbing images are what got me. but I don't like gruesome, so that could be why. oh well.

*biggest bump in history of site*
So... guess what? They're making a sequel. I saw previews before "The Covenant" (which, BTW, is great). It looks like more of the same, except outside more (the spirits apparently get freed from the house somehow). Amber Tamblyn's in it, so it should be good (she was awesome in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants").
They better explain that meowing kid, though. It's still driving me crazy. WTFBBQ?

Yea, i saw the preview aswell. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original though (although it was pretty creepy at times)
The meowing kid was awesome.
