So what do you think? I'm voting yes. Horror doesn't exist anymore. Just suspense/thriller. Maybe it says "Rated R for: Language, Horrifying Images, boobies" but I don't think that qualifies a movie as Horror. It takes more than a "BOO!!" for me to be scared of a movie, and thats all that seems to exist anymore. I'm not saying the occasional nerve doesn't twitch, causing an occasional lurch in the horror carcass. And I'm not sayings it can't be resurrected (its horror afterall,) I just havn't been impressed by anything I've seen lately. What do you think?

The Grudge movies still scare the shit out of me, but the torture porn crap they're trotting out now is going to kill the horror genre eventually, if other, better stuff doesn't come along. There's been a really good one (1408) already this year, though. That movie kicked ass.
